Description:On the extreme right of the picture, left to right, are Jessie Breeze and Flossie Breeze who are standing by the garden of Church Cottage, Seighford.
In the background is a glimpse of St. Chad's Church, which dates from the Norman period, although the west tower was rebuilt in local brick in the seventeenth century after the original tower collapsed. Inside the church can be found a church warden's chest, dated 1610, a Jacobean pulpit, and the alabaster tomb of William Bowyer (died 1593). The south window contains fifteenth century stained glass.
