Description:Lantern slide view with girls and boys paddling and playing in a stream by a small footbridge, captioned 'Waders in Greenfields Brook'. Greenfields is believed to have been the area of meadow land by Rowley Brook and Spital Brook, later occupied by housing at Stychfields and the English Electric factory, Stafford. In the background are houses, railway signals and a pedestrian footbridge over a railway. This photograph was possibly taken around what is now Fieldhouse Way and Siemens Road.

Photograph believed to have been taken by Walter Williams (1876-1929) of Stafford.
