Description:This postcard view looks north-west along the Shropshire Union Canal to Wheaton Aston. The Canal Bridge in the centre is number 19 and the building left of the bridge is the Hartley Arms public house. The Shropshire Union Canal was engineered by Thomas Telford and opened in March 1835.

This postcard was published by Francis Frith & Co., Ltd. Reigate. It was franked in Salisbury on 18 November 1956 and sent to an address in Wembley.
