Description:A postcard view of a quiet scene in Dove Street, later known as Dove Lane in Rocester. Most of the buildings in the picture remain (April 2020). The large building on the right is Chalice House which was formerly an infants' school built in 1852.

This is a “Shaw” Series postcard which was printed in Germany.
