Description:Charles Hales (right) and staff standing outside his butchers shop, stocked up for Christmas. Born in 1904, Charles Henry Hales butcher's shop was at 54 High Street, Brownhills in 1939. By 1958 he had was living at Bridgetown, Cannock and later had a stall in Cannock Market. He died in 1989.
