Description:A postcard view of a blue tit's nest with several eggs in a letter box by the Union Workhouse in Uttoxeter. The caption reads "Tom tit's nest in letter box. Uttoxeter Union House. Slit 3/4 in. wide." The photograph was taken by Alfred McCann of High Street, Uttoxeter.

On the reverse of this postcard there is a message “Please bring eggs on Wednesday as usual”. It was franked in Uttoxeter on 27 July 1907 and sent to an address in Uttoxeter.
