Description:The Endon May Queen celebration takes place late in May, during the Spring Bank Holiday. It includes the crowning of a 'Well-Dressing Queen' and Endon is now one of the places in Staffordshire to continue this tradition. The weekend celebration also includes the 'Tossing the Sheaf' contest in which men throw bales of straw over a raised bar.
