Description:A postcard view looking toward “F” & “G” Battalion Lines at Brocton Camp.

In the foreground beyond the upgraded track that used to come up from Brocton Village is the Farmhouse. Behind are the officer’s huts belonging to “F” Lines and along the roadway to the right just out of the picture were the Banks and shops that served the Camp. The winters then were very harsh and many of the postcards home used to request warm clothing and bemoan the desolate Chase and its relentless cold winds.
