Description:This signal box was originally sited on the Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway and North Staffordshire Railway at Waterhouses Station. It controlled both the narrow gauge and standard gauge lines at Waterhouses between 1904 and 1937. After many years serving as a garden shed at a farm in Wetton it was acquired by Amerton Railway in 2001. It has been sympathetically restored and will control the lines at the narrow gauge railway at Amerton.
