Description:Pictured are a group of players who took part in the Post Office Central Training School’s first Hockey Festival at Yarnfield during April 1956. If you recognise anyone in the photograph, please contact us.

The Hockey Festival was a new feature of the sporting activities held at the Yarnfield Training School and three neighbouring clubs, Stone, Stafford and Michelin, took part. The festival was organised by Mr V C Heath (Secretary of the CTS Hockey Club) assisted by Mr F Needham and Mr E R Grove.

The photograph and names are from an extract of an article published in the Stone Guardian on Saturday 14 April 1956.
