Description:The Royal Cinema building stands in Manor Street, just off City Road in Fenton. Opened in 1913, it closed as a cinema in 1960 before becoming a nightclub for a short period. At its peak it could seat 700. The building still stands, now used as a warehouse with a refurbished frontage. The van outside belonged to "Uncle Arthur, Fenton', a local radio and electrical store.
