Description:This postcard view of Weston Station is dated 22 April 1951.

For many years there were two Stations in the village of Weston. In the photograph is Weston Station (looking towards Colwich) also known as Weston and Ingestre Station which stood on the North Staffordshire Railway line running between Colwich and Stoke-on-Trent. Nearby there was a level crossing which has since been superceded by a bridge which carries the A51 over the railway line at the A518 junction.

The other Station in Weston was Ingestre and Weston Station on the former Stafford to Uttoxeter line which closed in 1951. In later years this part of the village was redeveloped, and Weston Village Hall now (September 2019) stands on the site of this Station.
