Description:The building is a brick-built one- storey structure with a shaped and tiled roof. It has a porticoed doorway and a light either side of door. Four young mothers with children and a man stand outside the doorway.
During World War II local school children were taken to the clinic to be examined for 'nits'. They also went there for dental problems. Expectant and new mothers visited the clinic to collect their allowance of orange juice, powdered milk and other needs.
In 2006 Chase Council for Voluntary Services owns and occupies the building and sub-lets offices to other organisations ie: Cannock Miners Advice Centre; Business Enterprise Support; Sure Start; ASIST and Chase Under 5s Nursery.
