Description:View of Brereton War Memorial, located by the main road into Rugeley. The memorial takes the form of a rough stone cross with truncated arms, upon which is carved a downward-pointing sword. Names of the fallen from World War I are carved in the plinth on which the cross stands, whilst those from World War 2 are carved in a titled plaque at the base. In the foreground, a patch of wild poppies has been cultivated as part of the garden of remembrance.
Dedicated 12th November 1922; manufactured from Cornish granite by Robert Bridgeman & Sons of Lichfield.
