Description:Once part of the new public buildings which replaced the previous Rugeley Town Hall, the photograph shows the bricked up right-hand section prior to its demolition. The Market Hall's entrance below the clock tower is now a health food shop (2020) with the tower still standing proudly above it, but the remainder of the building is gone. The foundation stone was laid on 26 June 1878 by Lord Lichfield.
