Description:Pupils in the cricket nets at Denstone College being coached by Bill Lockwood, standing left, watching a boy play forward to a ball. Nottingham born fast bowler W.H. 'Bill' Lockwood (1868-1932) played first class cricket for Nottinghamshire and Surrey and played in 12 tests for England between 1893 and 1902. He was appointed cricket coach at Denstone College in 1926.
