Description:A view of Horse Fair looking north. The thatched cottage centre left was demolished in 1912. However, the Globe Hotel in the centre and several of the buildings on the right remain (March 2019) although over the years their ground floors have changed use on several occasions and the Globe is now an estate agents. In later years the lamp post in the centre was replaced by a road traffic island (Globe Island) to cope with the busy road junction.
