Description:Grove Lodge stood at the main entrance to Charles Elphinstone's High Grove House (off to the right). This is now part of St Joseph's College. Grove Lodge first appears as The Lodge on the 1901 OS Map. The house has been extended towards the camera, but the part in the photograph is still identifiable. The entrance to St Joseph's College is on then lane just beyond Grove Lodge.
