Description:Knightley Grange was built between 1860 and 1868 by Major R. Hargreaves at Cob Hall Farm. The house overlooks the Gamekeepers' House towards the Wrekin. The tower, seen in the middle, was removed when it was found to be pulling down the rest of the house. At the same time the front was remodelled and the bay windows removed. The park contains a deer farm, which was restocked with deer given by Walter Bagot of Blithfield in the seventeenth century.
