Description:This photograph was taken inside the William Tagg Foundry.
During the First World War the factory produced shells for the front.
The Foundry was listed in the 1904 and 1932 directories as being located at 29 Sutton Street, which would be in the Upper Green Area.
Sutton Street was part of a clearance area in the 1970s so no longer exists.
