Description:This photograph of Alan Preece a local artist who painted many local views, which were turned into cards.

Photograph was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon.

In the background is one of several agricultural buildings that were re-erected at Wolseley Bridge. This is the main barn which faces the road and it is thought to date to the 17th century. It was taken down from Parchfield Farm in Colwich. In later years the site became known as the Wolseley Bridge Craft Complex and the various other buildings now house retail units selling art, crafts, gifts and antiques.
