Description:These were substantial buildings and had large rooms to accommodate tables and chairs for reading a newspaper whilst having a cup of tea. There were also billiard tables and the huts were adaptable for a concert room. This building was situated on Rifle Range Corner on the opposite side of the road to the Banks. When the Camps were sold off these buildings appeared in local newspapers advertising the auction with detailed descriptions of every item sold. They would become homes, stores, village halls or Scout Huts throughout Staffordshire and beyond. Some of them can be found in use to this day.
