Description:A view taken from the tower of St. Nicholas' Church looking eastwards over Abbots Bromley. in the middle ground can be seen the Market Place and the Butter Cross. The half-timbered building is the Goat's Head public house. Marked with an 'x' is Cedar Cottage (identified as Parnham's cottage in the message on the reverse) and marked with four dots is the Crown Hotel. In the distance on the right hand side of the photograph are the buildings of St. Mary and St. Anne's School.
