Description:Kingsmead, a Staffordshire County Council holiday home at Kings Bromley, now a care home. The water tower in the background is all that remains of the Manor at Kings Bromley, also known as Kings Bromley Hall and built in 1755. It was the home of the Lane family from 1784 until they left in 1921. The Hall was eventually demolished in about 1928 and the manor sold off in lots.
