Description:A postcard view of birds on Elmore Park's pool in Rugeley. Fed by the Rising Brook, the pool was originally part of the Hagley Hall estate and may have been a moat. The pool has an island which, it is thought, may have once contained a 14th century hall. This was replaced by Richard Weston in 1636 with a new hall slightly upstream on higher ground.
