Description:Crossley Stone runs off Elmore Lane near the park in Rugeley. The three-storey house on the right is number 20 Crossley Stone, a late 18th century Grade II listed house, and it is a side return of the building numbered 49 Bow Street. This was until recent times the home of the Comrades Club and Libby's Bar but in 2015-2018 was refurbished (together with the adjacent building on the left which is indistinct in this photograph) to a very high standard. The terraced houses on the right remain but those on the left have been demolished.

The postcard is from 'The Bell Series of Real Photos in Silver Print'.
