Description:The postcard view looks down Hednesford's Church Hill to its junction with Uxbridge Street and Rugeley Road, and across into Market Street. The coal miners' houses on the right have been demolished but the steps up the bank can still be discerned. Their blue-bricked yards backed onto the Hednesford Hills. Note the man with barrow in the road and the tracks on top of the banks. The right hand track ran down past the front doorsteps of the houses. The black building on the right at the bottom of the hill was the stores belonging to George Blagg's ironmongers premises.
