Description:Officially named as Green Heath Road but known as West Hill to the locals. Recognisable today, the school was Hednesford's first Board School opened in January 1874, but almost immediately it was found to be inadequate and was enlarged, eventually fully re-opening in 1889. It still exists today as West Hill Primary School. The pyramid shaped coping on the gate post may have been re-used in the existing wall (2022) in this location. The second house on the left is 'Woodseaves', the home of Albert Stanley M.P. In about 1911 which today (2022) bears a Blue Plaque on its front.
