Description:The last two buildings to the right of this delightful postcard still exist (2018). The one facing, far right, was built as the offices of Brownhills Board of Health in 1882 on Chester Road opposite the junction with Pelsall Road. By the time this card was posted in 1912 it would show its distinctive clock, added to the porch in 1911 but unfortunately it is not included in the view - but you can still go and have look! It is now a Health Centre. Immediately to the left is the side of the Central Schools building. A group of children pose for the camera. Notice the boy with the hoop which he would have bowled along as he ran.
