Description:An early view of the Market Place, Cannock. The indoor market, built in 1869 is on the left, incorporating Sellman's Funeral Directors established in 1870 and still (in 2018) in existence. Next is the early 18th century Crown Hotel which was demolished in 1962. The churchyard is in the distance. Note the delivery cart and gas lamp standard.
