Description:A colour-tinted postcard of the Veterans' Club in Cannock Park. The park was opened in 1932, funded by The Miners' Welfare Committee but the land had been used for recreational purposes prior to this time. The Veteran Miners' clubhouse was located in the Rose Garden and opened in 1959. Now boarded up and in use as a Cannock Chase District Council workshop.
