Description:The Army Service Corps were instrumental in keeping the Army supplied with all its needs during the War. Here troops are being trained to bake bread in the "field" either using the Stick Oven (the brick arched apertures behind the men on the ground) or the more substantial ovens behind the troops with the chimneys. The main building to the right was the Bakery with the office nearby and in the distance the main Water Tower.
