Description:A little girl having a donkey ride at Croxton. A Grand Procession travelled from Croxton Church to Wetwood Parish Room and adjacent parkland were floats and fancy dress were judged. After that sports took place at Wetwood followed by a buffet tea at Broughton Parish Room.

Here, a horse-drawn float from the Charnes estate is being judged at Wetwood, Croxton. These celebrations were held to honour Queen Elizabeth II's 25 year reign as the British monarch. Her Silver Jubilee was marked in many ways in the United Kingdom during 1977
