Description:Photograph of a yellow power station diesel shunting locomotive No. 4 at Meaford 'A' Power station, shortly before its demolition.

Four of the railway locomotives that worked at Meaford's power stations are preserved. One large steam engine is on a plinth in Kentucky, USA. Another was preserved in working order at Foxfield Steam Railway, Blythe Bridge and later at Chasewater Railway, but has recently moved to Loughborough. One diesel works on a line in North Yorkshire and the larger of the four diesels was presented by National Power (Central Electricity Generating Board) to Foxfield Steam railway in September 1990 and is nearly back in working order following repairs.
