Description:A display stand of prams, bicycles and toy cars stocked by Purton's of High Street, Stone pictured in a marquee, possibly at the Staffordshire County Showground, Hopton, Stafford.

Purton's sold prams, cycles and toys from a shop at 60 High Street, Stone between the 1940s and 1960s. The building and four neighbouring shops were demolished to make way for Somerfield supermarket which opened in 1994. This in turn later became a Co-operative supermarket and is now (2019) B & M.

Puton's also had a shop at number 21, at the bottom end of the High Street, on the opposite side.
