The daughter of William and Maud Byrd Levett of Milford Hall, Dyonese Rosamund Levett was born on 13 April 1900 at her parents' London home at 30 Chester Square. She married Gerald Haszard in London, March 1928 and the couple moved to Milford in 1933, having inherited the estate on the death of William Haszard in 1929. Colonel Haszard died in 1967 and Mrs Haszard in 1993.
