Description:Stafford Girls' High School started in 1903 as a private school at the Moat House on Newport Road. In 1907 it moved into the buildings at The Oval (pictured) which were built by the County Council. A new wing was added in 1930.

In 1963 the school moved to West Way, Highfields, and Stafford College of Art moved into the buildings at The Oval.
