Pupils of the Perry School of Dance are pictured during a dance routine in The Chase Players production of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ which was held in Rugeley Town Hall on 16 to 20 February 1954.

The Principal of the Perry School was Vivian E Wootton. Tuition included Toe, Tap and Acrobatic dancing.

At this time the Rugeley Times newspaper reported that it was a long time since the Chase Players produced a pantomime and this was only their third in their sixteen years of existence.
