Description:This is the older part of John Maddock's works at the top of Newcastle Street in Burslem. The company has been in Newcastle Street since its foundation in 1830, although this is the older part of a more modern works now demolished and replaced by a supermarket. The stepped wall and terraced shops beyond stlll stand.
