Date:March 1964

Description:Originally owned by the earthenware manufacturers, Knapper & Blackhurst, the Boston Pottery was occupied by Weetman Figures Ltd when the photograph was taken. Later the site was taken over by Old Boston Pottery in about 1964. The factory was demolished to make way for the roundabout at the eastern end of the Reginald Mitchell Way (A527).

The photograph was taken outside the old Methodist Chapel which stood on the corner of Cartlich Street.
