Description:Gustav Hamel with Miss Trehawke Davies.

Gustav Hamel, a pioneer aviator, who performed a flying display over Lammascote Fields in 1912 at the request of Stafford Town Council.

His monoplane was brought to Stafford by train and taken from the station through the streets to Lammascote.
