Description:The non-conformist church in Rodgers Street (formerly Williamson Street) in Goldenhill. Shannon Drive is off to the left.
Christ Church in Goldenhill was founded in 1873 when there was an evangelical split with St John's Church in the village. Initially a corrugated iron building funded by the local Williamson family (in what was later called Williamson Street). The present building dates from after the Second World War.
