Description:Wintery scene of Gaol Square with Christ Church in the background. Christ Church was built on Foregate Street in 1839. It closed in 1976 and in 1983 it was demolished; sheltered housing for the elderly now stands on the site. On the left can be seen Stafford General Infirmary.
