Description:Looking west along Ball Lane from the junction with Selworthy Road. At the end of Ball Lane is Trent Terrace with the railings marking the course of the River Trent in front of the houses. Off to the right beyond the van is Tank Field. In the far distance on the hill are the houses in Norton le Moors. The houses in this part of Ball Lane date from the 1940s and later, the houses on Trent Terrace from the middle of the 19th century.
