Description:Aerial view of the Staffordshire Potteries factory at Meir. During the 1950s Staffordshire potteries Ltd became the largest producer of utilitarian white cups, also manufacturing blue band kitchen ware and dinner and tea wares. In 1986 the company was taken over by Coloroll Group of Manchester. The buildings have now been demolished and the site is now an industrial trading estate.
