Description:A view looking south east from Leek New Road over the open fields of Stanley Moss in Endon. The tall chimney and surrounding buildings belong to Harrison and Son's Victoria Mill, specialising in grinding colours and glazes for the pottery industry. The factory was one of the largest flint, stone and fritt mill sites claiming to grind "finer than the finest wheat flour". It was connected to both the Caldon Canal and the Stoke to Leek branch railway line. In the centre of the photograph is the prominent white building, Victoria House.
The mill chimney was demolished around 1980.
