Description:A view north up the Fowlea Brook valley from Brick Kiln Lane area. In the foreground is the Granflex Roofing Co site. The company has been in Brick Kiln Lane since its foundation in 1949. In the far distance to the left are the tops of the two winding gear towers of Wolstanton Colliery. In between are the sites of a ready mix concrete company and Potclays Ltd. To the extreme right are the chimneys and furnaces of Shelton Steel Works. The hill on the skyline in the centre is the Mow Cop.
