Description:Pictured is a four anode. 133 kV, 1,200 amp. valve built by English Electric at Stafford to the basic ASEA* Sweden design. Similar valves were supplied to the C.E.G.B. (Central Electricity Generating Board) for the Kingsnorth – London Link.

*ASEA - Allmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget (General Swedish Electric Company).
