Description:Pictured in the Old Signal Box at Colwich are (left to right): David Buckley, Telephone Attendant and Gordon Axten, Signalman ('Box Lad'). David lived in the railway cottages nearby to the Stoke-on-Trent line. He was from a railway family along with his father, grandfather and uncles who had worked for various railways including LMS, NSR and BR.
