Description:Postcard view of the towpath alongside the Trent and Mersey Canal at Great Haywood. There is a man sitting on the towpath fishing in the canal. The iron bridge seen in the picture carried the drive from Shugborough Hall to Little Haywood over the canal and the River Trent. It was removed during the 1950s, leaving the section across the Trent & Mersey Canal.

Postcard published by Theresa May Yelland, Post Office, Great Haywood.
